Patti Miller serves as Executive Director and Administrator of the society. She oversees membership communications, program coordination, and the day-to-day stewardship that allows HESS members to focus on what matters most — learning from one another and advancing the profession.

It is association management in its truest form: a distinguished, volunteer leadership that rotates by design, and a professional centre that holds the institution steady between them. True expertise is best demonstrated through enduring partnerships, and HESS is the standard by which this practice measures its own.
