Patti Miller

Patti Miller has spent more than three decades refining the art of organizational excellence.

The quiet strength of experienced counsel

Her career began in 1988 in the convention and hospitality industry in Arizona. She moved through trade-show and public-relations roles, then into catering, convention services, sales, and marketing at resorts — developing a deep understanding of how people, places, and purpose intersect.

In 1996 she earned the Certified Meeting Professional designation and established her own hospitality and project-management practice. From 1998 to 2020 she worked alongside long-time industry colleagues at Premier Event Resources (PER), contributing her expertise in meeting strategy, marketing, communications, and association management.

Today that same disciplined, detail-oriented, and relationship-centred approach is directed toward three focused areas: Business Management, Association Management, and Entrepreneur Consulting. Patti partners with leaders who value clarity, thoughtful structure, and outcomes that feel both elevated and sustainable.

She currently serves as Executive Director and Administrator of the Healthcare Executives Study Society, an invitation-only forum of senior healthcare leaders whose membership is granted by nomination and election — and continues to invest in professional development through organizations such as Meeting Professionals International, the Events Industry Council, and leadership facilitation programs.

Guiding principle

Listen deeply, plan carefully, execute with grace, and leave every organization stronger than she found it.

Excellence isn't an event. It's a system that holds when no one is watching.

Working principles

Four rules,
learned the hard way.

  1. 01 — Plan far enough ahead that urgency is a choice, not a condition.
  2. 02 — Read the contract. All of it. Before it matters.
  3. 03 — Confirm twice. The second confirmation is the one that saves you.
  4. 04 — Build it so a successor could run it. That is the difference between a person and an institution.
